THUNDERBIRDS THE MOVIE (2004)

 

With the release of the new "Thunderbirds, the Movie" in theater,  a new line of merchandising has been created to meet the demand of fans of all ages - those who loved the original, classic series who will continue to follow the adventures of the Tracy Family in this brand new format and new fans, who discover them in this movie.

PLEASE!  CAREFULLY READ THIS IMPORTANT NOTE FOR TAPES AND DVD: 

Be aware of the different Regions and recording Formats.  UK tapes and DVD are PAL format - and DVD discs are Region 2, which means that, PAL TAPES ARE ONLY COMPATIBLE WITH UK VIDEO SYSTEMS AND REGION 2 DVD DISCS ARE ONLY COMPATIBLE WITH EUROPEAN PLAYERS --  THEY WILL NOT WORK IN US EQUIPMENT.  Unless you have a system that will enable you to, you will not be able to view those medias in North American machines, which use NTSC recording format, and Region 1 for DVD discs.  The same is true the other way around.

THUNDERBIRDS LIVE-ACTION MOVIE TO BE RELEASED ON DVD - RELEASE DATES BELLOW! 

 

The Thunderbirds live-action movie from Universal, and directed by Jonathan Frakes - and based on the 60's classic series "Thunderbirds" will be released on DVD in time for Christmas - both in U.K. and in North America. 

 

U.K. costumers will be able to buy the movie on November 15, 2004.  Along with the regular DVD release, a special box set released will also be offered, with five miniature toys representing each of the Thunderbirds craft.   

 

American costumers will have to wait until December, before being able to buy the DVD.  Two versions of the movie will be sold separately - either widescreen or standard TV format.  It is not known if the boxset with the five miniatures will also be offered in North America, although it seems unlikely.
